Key Thoughts To Producing Great Video Ads

Video Studio allows you to deliver the best possible user experience while ultimately incorporating richer video elements. Here are some points of consideration:
1. Reach the greatest number of viewers by creating a Video Package. A Video Package is a group of video assets all representing the same video creative. Each asset can be a different file format (WMV9, FLV8 or FLV7) and have a different bit-rate. The package is filtered to serve the optimal asset based on a viewer’s plug-ins and bandwidth. Video Studio offers an ability to automatically encode the source file into a package of up to 12 different assets.
2. Optimise user experience with user controls such as mute/unmute, play and pause buttons. Using the Eyeblaster Video Studio 2006 components (available upon installation of the latest MXP – v6.2.36) will allow you to set up a working video ad without any coding!
3. Check that the file size of the video falls within publisher specifications. Most publishers allow up to 1Mb of uninitiated video.
Ad Exposure Is On The Rise
The average length of time users are exposed to ads has been consistently increasing over the past three months (September - November). Globally, exposure has gone from 77 to 85 seconds on average per ad.
