Getting the most out of Campaign Monitor – quick tips


1. Always on!
Data is real time – so open the Campaign Monitor when you start the day, leave it open throughout and keep an eye on all your live campaigns.

2. Focus on the information you need
Adjust the settings to display only the information that is relevant for you. Select the advertisers you wish to see and only their campaigns will appear. Sort the campaign list by start date or put them in alphabetical order, and adjust the timeline by zooming in or out.

You can dismiss flights and ads that show errors that you are familiar with and do not wish to see any longer – just check them and click dismiss. This will remove them from the top of your error list. You can always bring them back by un-dismissing them.

3. Be proactive
Problems float to the top quickly and easily. By drilling down in the key performance indicators the problematic flights or ads appear at the top and all errors or warnings are immediately visible. Need more detailed info? Move to the graph view where you can see additional fields.

4. Easy to change, easy to view
To change flight settings, just click the flight ID and it will open up in the Ad Campaign Manager. To preview an ad, just click the ad name and a preview of it will appear.
